The Bynackbeg properties,  Nethy Bridge, near Aviemore, offer high standard self catering accommodation, set in a spectacular country location, just 2 miles from the picturesque village of Nethy Bridge and 15 miles from Aviemore. Situated in the Cairngorms National Park, at the centre of Speyside and on the edge of the RSPB Abernethy Forest. The totally enclosed garden of 1.5 acres is bounded by farmland and the Dorback burn. There are spectacular, panoramic views up Strathnethy to the Cairngorms.  The top station of the Funicular Railway together with 4 Munros ( Cairngorm, Braeriach, Beinn Mheadhoin and Bynack More) are all clearly visible. The two properties are well separated offering plenty of privacy

The garden has a large pond full of ornamental fish ( toddlers beware), which is occasionally visited by osprey and otters. The formal flower beds, edged by wild borders and trees, attract a diverse range of birds and insects. Hen harrier, buzzard, merlin, long ear owl, sparrow hawk, and the occasional eagle have all been seen from the garden. Red start, blackcap, brambling, twite, partridge, pheasant, heron....are all visitors. The adjacent Abernethy Forest offers the possibility of seeing capercaille, crested tit and crossbill. For the more adventurous a walk around the Northern Corries may reveal, ptarmigan, dotterel, and snow bunting. The area is a mecca for bird watching during all seasons.

Skiing, cycling, walking, horse riding, water sports and golfing are all nearby. Spectacular beaches are one hour away and the West Coast can be reached in 2 hours.

The area has been featured in the BBC series "Monarch of The Glen" and has something to offer for everyone.
